I've been totally addicted to Tim and Eric lately and as a pinnacle of this experience I found out that the one of the two, who goes by the name of Tim, is, in addition to all the other of his mind-boggling talents, a incredible stand-up comedian. His stuff is pretty groundbreaking so get ready to gasp and weep before his greatness. Behold:

I'm a Coke person myself.

So I've been desperately trying to find me some interesting books to read but being a complete book-newbie and an avid, long time electrical/visual entertainment supporter I really don't know where to start or look from. SO if you know or have read some interesting books please tell me!

To narrow down the selection a bit here's some keypoints of my preference;

+ surreal, strange
+ fantasy (Miyazaki type of stuff)
+ horror (real nasty stuff, bucketfulls of blood and intestines)
+ placed in 1970->
+ cyber-/steampunk
+ mindboggling biographies / non-fiction stories
+ awesomeness

+/- crime/detective stories

- fantasy (dragons and all that shit)
- placed before the 1970s
- war stories
